%IDENT_inflow% is an identifier for a boundary geometry with a special filling algorithm. It does not trigger filling to the entire interior domain. Instead, it will fill several additional layers in front of the inflow (in normal direction). This will lead to stability in case of a free (no connection to other boundary elements) inlet. To improve the quality of the point cloud, set COMP_FillEdges = 1 to place points on the edge of the inflow geometry. For the edge points, Y%ind_kob% = %BND_edge% (yellow points in the figure below; check Variables.log file for the current integer value, see Variables). Here should be a picture

The number of inital layers can be set by Nb_InflowLayers (=5 in the figure above). Note:

In order to correctly generate the specified number of layers and detect the associated free surface, the parameter compute_FS must be set to 'YES' for this chamber.
%IDENT_inflow% boundary elements are not influenced by turning on ORGANIZE_ReducedFillingOfWalls.

%IDENT_inflow% generates points on the associated boundary geometry according to the specified SmoothingLength.
