Types of Executables

Beta Executables

The newest developments can be obtained in the Beta versions, however they might not be completely stable towards all aspects of the software. Beta versions have only been tested on a limited set of test problems. On the download page, they are available in the directory beta. Download always the newest version. Older versions are provided for reference only. See also our Release Cycle Plan and the Beta Release Notes.

Naming Scheme

meshfree
optional marker d if debug version
version, e.g. R2020A for stable version, beta2020.01.0 for beta version, see above.
included SAMG version with the short commit SHA, e.g. SAMG2896baadc
precision, so far only d=double, but s=single, q=quad also possible
Operating systems (Rocky Linux is a 100% application binary compatible alternative to Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS Linux)
