Before downloading, please take note of the LicenseVariants.
Executables and dependencies for the different versions of MESHFREE are available from our ownCloud
The password for access can be obtained by contacting our Support. Similarly, please contact us for assistance if you are unsure which executable you need.
The newest developments can be obtained in the Beta versions, however they might not be completely stable towards all aspects of the software. Beta versions have only been tested on a limited set of test problems. On the download page, they are available in the folder 1_Beta_Executables. Download always the newest version. Older versions are provided for reference only. See also our Release Cycle Plan and the Beta Release Notes.
Stable versions have successfully passed an extended set of reference problems. They are created less often than Beta versions. On the download page, they are available in the folder 2_Stable_Executables. Download always the newest version. Older versions are provided for reference only. See also our Release Cycle Plan and the Stable Release Notes.
Debug executables are only uploaded to the folder folder 4_Debug_Executables on the ownCloud page as required. If you need a debug version to investigate a specific problem, please contact our Support.
This applies to all versions of MESHFREE. If you are unsure about which executable you need, please contact our Support team for assistance.
To be able to run MESHFREE on multiple CPUs in parallel, you will need Intel MPI. We generally recommend using the same version that was used to compile as given in the executable name. As of November 2022, this is Intel MPI 2021.6. We will provide the required offline installer on the ownCloud download page in the folder 3_Dependencies/Intel_MPI.
The latest standalone Intel MPI can also be downloaded directly from the Intel website at
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/tool/oneapi-standalone-components.html#mpi
or as part of the Intel oneAPI Base and HPC Toolkits from
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/toolkits.html.
Please note that Intel MPI falls under a separate End User License Agreement, which you will need to accept during installation.
You only need the license manager if your license has a limit for the number of simulations that can be run at the same time. This is given as the option NUM_TOTAL in a file with ending lcd. In the folder 3_Dependencies/FITlm on the ownCloud download page, you find the executable and libraries for the license manager in separate archives, as well as the user manual as a pdf file.
In the folder 3_Dependencies/Templates on the ownCloud download page, we provide a little template run script for MESHFREE that you can use as a starting point and adapt as required for your system.
